"Drove over Guardsman from SLC to come here after hearing great things. It was fantastic. We started with the fondue appetizer which was delicious, then one of us got the Halibut which was absolutely incredible, the curry sauce it came with was fantastic it complemented the fish very well. Another one of us got the Ribeye steak and it cut like butter. So tender it was crazy! Then 2 of us got the pasta special that came with pork and that was also very good. Ordered the strawberry rhubarb and a hot fudge sundae for dessert. Highly recommend coming here. We will definitely be coming back for sure. "Our stay at the Blue Boar Inn was fantastic. We went to Midway for a weekend getaway over Valentine's. The front-desk staff and restaurant staff were very professional, kind and made us feel at home. We stayed a couple of nights in different rooms. Each room was really elegant, quiet and clean. We had breakfast each morning in the restaurant and it was fabulous! The Sunday brunch is not to be missed, you won't go away hungry. We also splurged a bit and had a four course dinner one evening. It was well worth the price. Everything tasted delicious and for a high-end restaurant, the portions were much larger than expected. As for the area, there is lots to do. We did tubing at Soldier Hollow as well as the Biathlon Experience which were both super fun. We drove to Park City (less than a half hour away) and spent hours there strolling on historic Main Street. The Heber Valley Historic Railroad was relaxing as well. In the summer this place is literally walking distance to trails and golfing."
