What User likes about Las Mercedes:
One of the more traditional Meican and Spanish restaurants, it exudes style and traditiion (think small wardrobe stands for ladies' handbags). What User doesn't like about Las Mercedes:
We went there for dinner on Feb 14. The stately building and very good food made it a potentially nice romantic option, but the bright lights and loud, gauche server who belonged anywhere but at a classy restaurant (shouting across the restaurant, shouting in the kitchen so the whole dining room could hear him, bussing dirty dishes around the restaurant, etc) kept this from being an experience to remember.
