"The idea of an affordable hostel at this location is good. Food is OK, especially the draft beer was nice. When we were there, only a subset of the food selection was available. Your chances of getting a room too close to a very-very noisy air vent are high! I could not really sleep, maybe 2 hours altogether. I felt very exhausted in the morning. So, i would say, despite the idea being good, the realization is really bad. I hope for an improvement.."

"If you travel by bicycle on Shimanami kaido, this is suitable hotel for you to stay. You can bring your bicycle to check in the hotel at the front desk and even you can bring it into your room. The hotel was warehouse before and renovated in modern design now. It's so clever and I love it! :"

"This has always been a great lunch or break stop on the Shimanami route from Onomichi to Imabari. There is a good restaurant with local fish, a nice shop, bathrooms, and facilities for cyclists/cycles. Try the マハタ (mahata or grouper), it is delicious. Update: I visited on a holiday and they were fairly busy. When my order had not arrived after 35 minutes, I had to leave to make the Setoda ferry. Since you now pay in advance, there was no way to cancel my order, so I lost my money and am removing one star. The food is usually pretty good."

"チャンポンと餃子をいただきました。チャンポンはスープの色を見た瞬間、こりゃうまいぞという予感。何かチャンポンの懐かしい味、といっても野菜炒めがのってるだけの感じじゃなくてスープと野菜がマッチしている。私の好きな味でした。麺が細いんでなんか惜しいんですが、うまかった。味は佐賀の井出チャンポンに似てます。餃子は手作りで具がしっかりと入って歯ごたえ抜群。満足させていただきました。店がわかりにくいです。"
