Having stopped at many cafes whilst in Milan and being charged different rates for coffee, as much as €5, on the basis you want to sit down, this out of the way place was a great find. Just to the right of the large roundabout in front of Castello Sforzesco, down a side road is Cliche. Americano €1, including your seat! What Vicky W doesn't like about Cliche Cafe:
Staff were very friendly, however the service is very slow. The drinks took a long time to come out, and I had to ask for my ordered drink (espresso) when it hadn 't turned up ten minutes after everyone else 's. Hubby and I ordered schnitzel which was clearly only heated, not freshly cooked. The chips/wedges were soggy and unappetizing.
