nothing pretentious but the atmosphere from old home-run tavern is the real reason to stop here. food as prepared by grandmother on Sunday at lunch... apart from pizza that is better than that of grandmother because it was not exactly her speciality ahahha View all feedback.

I've been there with friends for a dinner. It seemed a plasant place and staff is very friendly: they make you comfortable. It's not a very formal place, everything is easygoing relaxed and clean. It was a weekday, it was not crowded (don't know during...the weekend) Food is good, sometimes original (regional guisine from Piemonte). It could happen that something is a little bit salty. Price is in the average, the cotoletta milanese is about 13 euros and is very good, with pistachio nuts. 3 people, we ordered 1 cotoletta, 1 fagottino piemontese (or somethinig like that, with vegetable) and two risotto, 2 medium beers and 1 water, it was 50 euros. I would suggest if you want to spend a relaxed evening very close to the movida area.
We stayed in two at lunch a Saturday of May. men have presented a choice of first all at the cost of 7 and second (all at the cost of 8.50). the four first available were: homemade noodles, homemade maltagliati at the tops of turnip, spaghetti at the carrettiera, penne alla norma. the choice of the second was wider, I mention some : scaloppine with mushrooms with potatoes, sausage in the oven with vegetables, Milanese cutlery with baked potatoes, bresaola with rocket and grana ... I do not remember them all, but each one of them included a meat with contour. we took a normal pasta, a maltagliato with like turnip, a ravine and grana. in the basket of bread there were also many beautiful cutouts of hot focaccia! to drink a sparkling water from liter: total 33 (so water and blanket we paid 1 per head.) the room was a pleasant discovery: all the dishes were delicious, in the right amount, served quickly. very friendly and discreet staff. ... finally sitting in a very nice place of Milan, eating well in a relaxed and familiar climate and without excessive costs was a very pleasant experience. I give 5 stars because for me the local takes full what should be a good trattoria.
