"I've always gone to this place, but since I moved to melbourne. this is however the only souvlaki place where I can actually eat her souvlaki and that is because they use fresh meat (or that their meat does not contain many preservatives). all other shops must have preservatives in their flesh and they can tell how the flesh looks because I always have a heavy allergic reaction where my neck swells, I get itching eyes, neck and swollen mouth. therefore this place is my way, since you flesh does not lead to me having a bad reaction. Moreover, the fresh meat tastes much better and its garlic sauce is amazing! highly recommended. I'm not sure how good the staff is now, but back when I visited, they were always very friendly. just what I can owe is the atmosphere, they could do with a bit of redesign, as it holds a very outdated look. other than eating is amazing! Moreover, their gravy is delicious and complements really their beautiful cooked chips!"

"Thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience tonight at Botanica. Started with prompt table service for drinks. The trio of dips for starters were delicious and the eye fillet main was cooked perfectly. The waitresses and chef were very professional and lovely. Definitely recommend to any one wanting a great quality meal."

"Higher end of dining, but not quite silver service. 4 of us dined, 3 had steak and one had the Spanish Chicken. All the steaks were top quality and herself lauded the chicken. All in all a very good meal in a reserved environment. Well worth a visit for that special occasion."

"The tasting was made all the more pleasant than stefano helped us in the selection of weeps from a really amazing wine list. we have never looked at 1/2 bottles, but that has added so much to the experience. the decor is surprisingly alive for a cellar, but works so well. tables are well spacious. our meal times were individual joy. for me the economical options were too salty, but we had the opportunity to determine the food needs so that next time I will ask that our not receive additional seasonality if they place if this is possible? the service was fast and friendly, but not intrusive. such a great experience. we finished with coffee in the magnificent upper floor bar and looked at the city."
