So disappointed with the poor quality of the food. The tempura Prawns were mostly greasy overcooked batter with what appeared to be a thin strip of prawn, not a whole prawn. "Excellent dining experience. A must on foodies list! I am a fussy eater and its my hobby. I was very impressed with this hidden gem. Beautiful location, awesome service from the owners. All local ingredients where possible and everything we tried was superb for a very fair price. Interesting menu structure but it really worked. They have 'snacks ' for 3 and 4$ which were very generous portions in themselves and delicious! Then light plates that are a regular appy size, about 6 or 8 to choose from priced in the 13/14$ range and then about 6 mains to choose from (16-28$ range). Awesome wine and my steak was perfect melt in your mouth. Me and my partner ordered snacks, a small plate and 2 mains, had several drinks and whole bill with a generous tip was 120$. Cannot beat that for fine dining high quality local food!"

"There was a warm welcoming and the atmosphere was special as the Fisherman’s Wharf was in full view from our window seating…the low key environment made for a relaxing dinner meal..the mushroom soup was very tasty and the hamburger and fries was of freshness and quality.. my wife’s seafood linguini was quite tasty and a generous portion..no photos..after the meal we walked along the very beautiful viewing wildlife and the sunset along Cowichan Bay"

"We have been customers since it opened, but since the owners have not been in charge of customer service, rudeness has crept in- for instance, on our last visit a staff member openly complained about having to open the chiller to sell us some cake near the close of business! Unbelievable attitude! Then we were charged $5 for a piece of cake! there is no price list for cake or baked goods which is unacceptable. Very disappointing!"
