"We stopped here after spending an afternoon on the lake. It was an exceptionally hot day and the place could probably do with a little extra shade.The food and drink was nice but it was topped off by the views of the lake.A good place to stop for a quick bite to eat and makes for some great photos."

"It was my first time at that restaurant and I was impressed. The service, the food, the quality and the personell was perfect. And all together in such an atmosphere in one word unbelievable. I was surprised as never before and I am able to recommend this restaurant to all which dont wont to have again and again the same kind and type of restaurants this one is unique and please also note that the prices are the same than in an normal restaurant. So try it and you will become a fan of the Kleinsasserhof !"

"We've just finished dinner here and it was our second time there today because the food is so good. We found the restaurant this afternoon and had lunch. Yes the menus are all in German, but hey we're blessed with google translate now if you don't understand the menu. The waiter at lunch was great, he did happen to speak English, which was nice but we still tried with our best broken German! Weinerschnitzel was to die for! At dinner myself and my partner both had the burgers which were superfilling sadly leaving no room for dessert. The views are beautiful over the lake. Also what is lovely even now in the height of summer the area is not full of screaming tourists and children!! Great restaurant 100% recommend!!!!"

"We found this restaurant purely by accident. Indeed it is on a tiny little back road short cut up the mountain and the road is just about wide enough for a car in some places.Well it was excellent. We made a booking which was just as well as when we went on a Sunday night it was packed. We dined on the terrace which was absolutely lovely with fabulous views down to the village and along the valley. For May it was a very pleasant and warm evening.We had also come to the conclusion that so many restaurants in this area were offering the same food but this one is quite different and had what I described as "a menu"! If you want to get away from the usual items this is certainly a place to try.We had what was described as a tapas starter. Actually it was not that interesting although it was different. The chicken was very good and then we went for a tapas mixed dessert which was outstanding. You got a little of everything which appeals to me.We had some decent wine and the service was very good even though there was a little misunderstanding at the beginning, but nothing that was not sorted immediately.Price - fair for what we had. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant and we shall be going again!"
