I live around the corner from troys and tried it for the first time today. After i had read all of the negative reviews. And i have to say i dont have a single complaint. I was in and out within 25 mins the waitresses were friendly and attentive and the food was hot and delicious. If i had to say anything negative it would be that parking is very limited but then again its main street and there isnt parking anywhere.... View all feedback.
What canadian investor doesn't like about Troy's Diner:
After hearing good things about this place, we decided to visit. Arrived an hour before closing and ordered burgers. Minutes later we were told the grill was closed for the night. Instead ordered the Beef dip but got the Philly steak sandwich served instead. Sandwich was tiny. Other dish was a grilled cheese with bacon on the side. Grilled cheese sandwich was nice and cheesy although plate was void of any garnish. Th... View all feedback.
This is a hidden gem in Milton's downtown. I was apprehensive about going here because of the reviews I saw, but on both occasions I visited the service and food was very good. New favourite breakfast place for sure.
The service here is quick and friendly, even though there is usually a line on weekends. The wait time is only about 7-15 minutes, with the line stretching out the front door. And don't forget to try their amazing milkshakes!
Troy's Diner is a unique restaurant filled with a variety of Coca Cola memorabilia. The decor features Coca Cola items on every wall, and even the menu is styled in the Coca Cola font. This place is a must-visit for Coca Cola enthusiasts. In addition to the interesting decor, the food at Troy's Diner is delicious diner fare. The service was quick and friendly when we visited after the lunch rush. My partner had the Jumbo Smoked Meat Sandwich, which was generously portioned. I opted for the Reuben Sandwich, which was topped with melty Swiss cheese. An interesting tidbit we noticed was that Troy's Diner accepts Canadian Tire money at par, adding to the quirky charm of this establishment.
Incredible value, poor service. Troy's Diner is a great spot for the family and offers a fantastic, affordable menu. The environment is classic and the food is better than the typical chain breakfast establishments. However, the service is incredibly inconsistent and you're often given little attention/sometimes treated rudely if your bill is less than $20, which is almost always the case!<br/ <br/ If you're in town, you need to give Troy's a try for the food. The prices will have you ignoring the poor service.<br/ <br/ 6.5/10
