After the Salcey Forest parkrun nearby we stopped for brunch at this wonderful village pub for breakfast. We were the only patrons and the host served us some fantastic coffee. From the breakfast options we went for toast and some fried eggs baps that were delivered very quickly. Liked the friendly welcome on a Saturday morning. View all feedback.
What danielrwalsh doesn't like about The Watts Arms:
Today, we visited Watts Arms for lunch and were highly disappointed. Despite acknowledging the change in management recently, we found the menu options to be extremely limited and unsatisfactory. We do not plan on returning to this pub anytime soon. View all feedback.
Being from the North and accustomed to generous portion sizes, I found the pizzas at this restaurant to be very satisfying. There is a wide variety to choose from and they are priced at only £8.95! Just make sure not to eat before you go, as the portions are quite filling. There is also a good selection of ales available at the bar, I particularly enjoyed the Triple Hop.
My companion and I had a wonderful evening at the restaurant tonight. The atmosphere was great and the pizza was huge. It was too big for us to finish, but the waitress offered to put it in a box for us to take home. I declined this time since I was staying at a local guest house. Overall, it's a nice local pub worth visiting if you are in the area.
Phone number listed here isn't current. Apparently the pub is under new management since end of May and the new number is 01908 337954
Great food, great staff. We often go in here for dinner and couldn't wish for anything more .please note the phone number
We moved to the village a while ago and finally decided to try the Watts Arms, I wish we’d tried sooner! The staff are really friendly and make you feel welcome, the food was really good and reasonably priced, as were the drinks. The pub feels comfy and cosy, much better than the other pub in the village!
