What Thor Larsen doesn't like about La Dama Mexican Kitchen:
Our server was exceptional. Such a pro, so nice and attentive. Also the margaritas were great. That was the only good part. The shrimp was overcooked, the mole was way too sweet, the home made tortillas were greasy and not even close to properly done. The fig salad was a joke, and they randomly threw cheap prosciutto ham on it for some reason. Oh and to top it off, the owners son works there and is a total bummer whe... View all feedback.
My experience was affected perhaps by the size of our table. Couples were served quickly as opposed to my table of NINE. Exceptional entrees. I noticed the lamb shank was incredibly tender. I chose delicious shrimp tacos.
Elevated Mexican restaurant experience! Loved the food! Our waitress, Carmen, was great, too!
My husband and I dined there for the first time last night. We had a couple cocktails, an appetizer, I got the tacos and he had the hanger steak (and of course took some tres leches cake home). The dishes and cocktails were so flavorful and our server was great and seemed genuinely excited about the menu. Thanks La Dama for my wonderful birthday dinner!
Okay... This is a MUST VISIT. Try the old fashioned... It's not what you expect
