suppe, sauces and quinoa chicha were great, entrées were barely edible. advertising as vegetarian, but offers hung and meeres fruit. her vegan dish was recommended sweet mixed in quinoa tasted like pure soy sauce and mush, really disappointing. definitely worth a visit for her suppe! loved her cacao BBQ sauce. twice there, it was very good! everything freshly prepared, much sweet. free drink included and plantains as starter. highly recommended

The wait for the bus is excruciatingly long so we grabbed something to drink here while we waited 4 hours for our bus back to Quito. In my usual fast paced mode I ordered and paced around. The owner simply told me to relax 'Relax, you don 't have anywhere to go '. I realized he was right. We sat on the back deck overlooking the creek. Soon hummingbirds were fluttering around, butterflies and chickens and I even saw a Basilisk. Ok, so Mindo wasn 't so bad after all. We had coffees, some kind of home-made sodas and a really nice afternoon here. The beautiful family that owns this cafe may have recently opened the Dragonfly B&B. Be sure to check both of these places out if ever in Mindo."
