I had a grilled cheese that was brilliant, someone with the group had a triple burger with bacon that looked heavenly! And my guy had a burger with Jalapeños he enjoyed. The bag of chips was really big so two people could share a bag. The stand seat on the back has to be restored as the upholstery around everything is left. But the food and the waitress were great! Great little place, server was great, but the burger was not worth the trip. Been hyping ourself up about these burgers, but they were frozen patties for one, and the meat tasted like it was bad. A damn good burger... this burger was so good that I miss it before I finished eating it. The bartenders are top-class and very personal and it seems like a fun place, although we were there for lunch. If I didn't live a thousand miles away, Woody would be my local tavern.
On the way from our house in Mansfield to our little ranch near Breckenridge, we always had a lunch break at Woody’s and introduced Woody to other family members. Best Darn Cheeseburger in the country... Perfection! You need pumice!
We had a wonderful time! Enjoyed memories of the time we spent there with Dad Mom (Spike Dot) when they owned Woody's for over 25 years! Family place during the day enjoyed our Cheeseburg ice tea! Jim Renee
Had a cheeseburger, chips. It was great. It’s a little smoky but it’s Woody’s, so suck it up. Literally and physically. SALUTE!
