"These four/five star reviews are obviously from friends/family of the owner/employees. This is not a good business. This business deserves negative stars. I have been giving Gordons automotive my money for almost 30 years. They used to be an excellent automotive repair shop. I can honestly tell you to avoid this place.I can honestly tell you to avoid this place. I took my car in on Monday. The reason I took it in was because it had been cutting off as I was driving it. They didn't even contact me until Thursday when they told me to come pick it up. They had done absolutely nothing to my car and they charged me $156. They told me the technician had driven it an hour and a half and could not replicate the problem. When I got in the car I immediately became furious when I looked at the gas gauge, because the needle have not moved. It has the same amount of gas in it as when I had it towed there. We're talking about a V8 350 Chevy engine. You don't drive at 350 for an hour and a half without using gas. The needle on the gas gauge was exactly where it was the last time I had been in the car. No one drove that car for an hour and a half trying to replicate the problem... but also when the tow truck driver took my car we noted that the mileage. There have been less than 2 miles put on the car from the time the tow truck driver picked it up and towed it to Gordons. I had driven five minutes away from Gordons when the car cut off again. It cut off three times on the way home although I made it home. You can stand next to the car and tell her that the idling is off, if you're just a normal person, not a mechanic. No one at Gordons even checked my car out. The car had serious problems which were later repaired by real mechanics. Gordon's lied and they ripped off my money. Imagine treating a 30 year customer like this. I suffered greatly during the pandemic. I am the last person that these people should've ripped off. AVOID this place at all costs."
