Loved the food! Banana pudding was the best over ever had! Our server left a lot to be desired but the food made up for it!

"I had dinner there with my family after receiving rave reviews of the restaurant. Our server was very nice, but marginally incompetent. He didn't know many details about the menu when asked for details. One of the starters was served without any of the 3 ingredients (olives with canned citrus and fried parsley - served without the fried parsley - not the waiter's fault). The waiter presented the special as an appetizer, but it was actually an appetizer. My main course (or should I say "starter") was served about 5 minutes after the rest of my table had already served their main courses. I was able to order another main course when it was clear that I had ordered an appetizer, but by then the rest of the table was done with the main course. The rest of the people at my table enjoyed the food and the beers were delicious, but overall my experience was not great."

"Very good experience. They serve very good and tasteful food. Customer service was very nice. I definitely recommend going there again. The protein is all fresh. And the potatoes are never frozen. All fresh cut up. Nice atmosphere. Plan on going again soon."

"Have been sitting on my 21st birthday. the personal was well prepared – the table was sprinkled with birthday confetti. the menus “Happy.Birthday” printed in the upper right corner and a specially rolled menu to go home were signed by the waiting staff as a birthday card. eating was amazing, from appetizers to desserts. the soufflé was exquisite. our waiter was very attentive and charming."

"As a Brit, this is my new favourite place in Dinkytown. Jon and Pete are so so lovely and talked to us for hours, and the food was incredible. They also have a great selection of British food to buy Cadbury's, biscuits, etc. I'm a vegetarian, and their pasty was so good, and my friends who are meat eaters said the traditional pasty and the sausage roll taste authentic to the UK. Cannot wait to return"

"Everybody and everything seemed great except for the lady taking our order. She was taking our order while having earbuds on! I kept saying turkey and she kept asking thirteen ? I even said number 7 , she still did not understand, or maybe simply did not care to. Mind you, I do not have a foreign accent. Finally we clarify with the lady and she rudely throws the bread around. I think it 's not too much to ask for the person taking orders to not have earbuds on at work. Looks pretty bad. Maybe try a different line of work?"
