"Very welcoming place to visit in Mirandela. The food is very good and the staff is fantastic. We were attended by André who deserves his prominence and thanks here for his friendliness and kindness. We eat the typical starters like cheese, ham, alheira and bread and everything is delicious. Then we eat the typical Posta à Mirandesa and it is really good. Finally, the desserts are also very good, among the cream of the sky, the chocolate mousse and the meticulously cut fruit salad. The house wine is very good. In the end, the price is a fair value for the quality presented. Place to visit again."

"This is a very modern looking, yet cosy restaurant in the small town of Lamas de Orelhão, near Mirandela. Food is excellent and there is a good choice of dishes. It's spacey and can easily harbour bigger families or groups. Most surprising to me was finding this restaurant in an area where one wouldn't expect to find a restaurant of this kind. Usually restaurants here are simple places where regional food is prepared and more intricate dishes are impossible to get nor would you expect that. The Rei d'Orelhão Restaurant makes you think you are dining in a larger city. Quality is high and portions are well measured. We had a dish that was supposed to be for two but could easily have served three. Very tasty and very well served."
