Stayed in Mitchell for a few days and called into the bakery for morning tea and we were certainly not disappointed. The lamingtons were huge, absolutely the best I have ever tasted, and very reasonably priced compared to city bakeries. Husband had the caramel slice and he said that was also very good. Went to this bakery mid morning. Looking for some pies. We were the only ones inside and stood at the counter waiting to be served. Staff kept chatting amongst themselves and we appeared to be an inconvenience. Pies were not marked as to what types...they were.
