"It’s not a very modern museum but the enthusiastic staffs definitely had out lots of efforts to illustrate the history of ibaraki prefecture. Mito isn’t really a touristy city and there aren’t really a lot of foreign visitors, so 99.99% of the illustrations and displays in the museum don’t come with English, but with my very limited Japanese I still enjoyed my visit a lot. My only wish was that the museum could be a little bit bigger."
