Da Mamma Lucia - Mittenwald

The tip came from a friend. Because after I don't know so well in the middle of the forest, I probably wouldn't have pushed the Ristorante Mamma Lucia so easily. At the entrance the boss stood by a table at the opposite end of the room at the counter and greeted me kindly. After only one table was occupied, I had free choice and put me in a corner on the window. I got the menu and then I was allowed to deepen in peace. In addition to the usual suspects there is a “Chef recommends page”. Spaghetti Pescatore lured me there with fresh seafood € 13.50. I find it nice that there are S.P. in four different sizes, I ordered it as 0.5 l. to € 3.50. In times when allergies become more and more a problem, there is a pleasant indication of gluten-free pasta in the map. Otherwise, the new EU regulation will be negotiated discretely on the last page. I find it less pleasing to note that additional changes will be made with € 3.50. In addition to a basket with fresh bread, the service with mineral water also brought me a pepper mill. The sight of my pasta not only allowed me to converge the water in my mouth, but led me to a glass of Prosecco 4 € for this beautiful food. The food was great. We both had pasta but the pizzas look amazing as well. It wont disappoint. Worth stopping here

We enjoyed our dinner here so much.... we returned again the following night! We had been here on previous visits to the beautiful town of Mittenwald it did not disappoint. The pasta dishes were a generous serve, a great combination of delicious flavours ...textures. Potato soup, amazing creamy flavour....super tasty. Pizzas were light full of fresh ingredients that tasted amazing.....everything was so good. Service was friendly efficient, the owner Karin so very helpful welcoming. Highly recommended. The restaurant is a minute or so away from the centre, near the tourist office. The streets can be a bit confusing when you first arrive but this place is worth seeking out. We had the spaghetti vongole and salmon tagliatelle and both were delicious....The service was very friendly but as reviewed before, a little slow but it was absolutely fine as long as you're not in a big hurry. I would definitely go back to this restaurant

We love Bavarian food, however during our week stay we decided to ring the changes and go Italian! We are so glad we found Da Mamma Lucia. Delicious Italian food with a great selection of wines.
