"Excellent small plates!!! Large plates were mediocre at best and overpriced. Soup, chicken wings, and pimento cheese were fabulous! Wine list is excellent. Lamb ragu was good. Duck was chewy on unimpressive lentils. Fish was on a soupy base that did not come together well as a dish."

"This was the perfect spot. Everything tasted amazing and the staff was friendly and tentative. We got the eggs Bennies (peace maker choose 2) with crawfish and their special fall braised beef. I was extremely full after the apple beignets but had to finish them as it was so mouthwatering. Would recommend and eat daily if I lived closer"

"First time eating here and the lady taking my order was super helpful. She saw my hesitation on “selecting a sauce” and told the kitchen team to put “all the sauces in my bag to try”. No up charge. I’m so thankful because I tasted each sauce and settled on honey mustard."

"Worst Mexican food ever! This was supposed to be a Chile Relleno with rice beans and Queso dip. The Chile Relleno wasn’t prepared correctly. It was so tough you could barely cut it. Beans tasted like hotdog chili, queso looked and actually tasted like potato soup. My wait time was supposed to be 15mins from the time I ordered (over the phone). It was that and more after I arrived, paid, and waited and waited… I’m not a total negative Nancy I do have a pro, the restaurant is very charming. You could totally hang out and have a few drinks there with a couple of friends, just don’t waste your money on the food.."

"Sunday brunch is my favorite and 5 has definitely become my place. Beignets-there are no words. The crab cake Benedict with the spinach salad was perfection. Perfectly poached eggs-like pudding and delicate crab cakes heavenly flavored with perfectly balanced ingredients. Without a doubt, the best I’ve ever eaten this comes from a seafood family girl who married a family with a wholesale seafood company so I do know a little about good seafood). Great atmosphere and fabulous choice of decor. Really solid service from the kindest waitress. Great place downtown to never pass up."
