Contribute FeedbackI visited this restaurant together with my partner because of hunting activities in the Odenwald. Founded in 1882, the inn is popular with both hikers and hunters. There are honest and grounded Odenwälder cuisine, especially recommended is the extensive carving card. I had the cooking cheese carving, an Odenwälder speciality, it was very delicious. If you want to make bread time, a selection of cold dishes is also offered. You can sit nicely in the yard, in the cold season you go to the original guest room. The beers are from the Pfungstädter brewery, speciality is a really homemade wine from Neutsch, which we have not tested. Prices are really appropriate for today's conditions, the service was super friendly and warm.
It's just great in this inn. We stayed with friends for the first time in the Gasthaus Lautenschläger and were all enthusiastic. The food was fantastic (the best scavengers for years), the services were very attentive and the senior chefin has set himself to us and told about their world trips. All in all a very successful guest house visit.
Excellent local cuisine, in a very pleasant atmosphere. It is a traditional inn. The senior boss Annemarie is an institution in Neutsch; she understands that she always appeals to her numerous guests and gives them the feeling of being always welcome.
This is a very rustic and very cozy place. The food is excellent and the hostess is very friendly. Especially the salad tastes very good. Eating well bourgeois and in very good price -performance ratio. Very recommended.
Eat once again like Grandma... The scavengers in butter baked the roasted potatoes fresh, crisp and delicious....
