We visited Solmi several times over a few weeks around Modena. It was recommended by our host. The coffee is up to a great standard and the staff is very friendly. Some speak very good English. The pastries and gnocco frito are homemade and delicious. Particular favourites were the cannoli and berry/lemon tarts. Great with coffee. Also available is a selection of balsamico at fair prices.
