Great food, this was my first time here, it was recommended by a friend and they were right. We all shared the orange chicken, Mongolian beef and cashew chicken. I'll definitely be going back, I'll be ordering some food for an event from them soon. View all feedback.
What GISGuy doesn't like about Mei Wei:
Mongolian beef combo plate. mostly over cooked onions, with soft beef. Over all not much texture Needs a stronger ginger flavor, less saucy, and be served over crispy noodles. Hot and sour soup not very hot, and tasted a little off. Chow mein noodles on large size, chicken ok, overall a bit salty. Shrimp is butterflied and over cooked- not worth eating. Egg roll not bad, good ginger flavor and cabbage Pork fried rice... View all feedback.
Food is the bomb.com! a friend from stockton found this spot for me and I've been coming here for 2 years now! Front desk lady is not welcoming. I called ahead but when I arrived they Didn't even acknowledge me when I walked in. So I sat for a few minutes still nothing. Went to the register still no acknowledgement. I didn't like that. 2 more seconds and i would've walked out. I'll give them the benefit of doubt because there was a few ppl in there. Still my favorite spot.
Service is amazing, friendly and happy people. Very helpful if your not sure what to order. I am over halfway through the menu and everything taste great. Large portions for the price
First time, food was very good first place that had delicious sweet and sour pork definitely coming back for my next craving , and they don’t skimp out on food the beef chow fun had so much beef in it ! phones just need to be fixed so the food will be ready when I get there. For all that food was 45$
One of the best places for Chinese food in Modesto and make it into different styles. Sachajuan and Mandarin you have to try the walnut shrimp and the pork chow fun and many other dishes are great
First time ordering from this place. Will not be my last. I had #5 combination plate. Mongolian beef, all chicken chow mein (not a rice person), also came with a fried shrimp and egg roll. My bf had #8 combination. Sweet and sour pork combo meal. The best chow mein in Modesto!! Lots of meat and veggies. The sweet and sour pork and Mongolian beef was delicious. One combination plate could easily feed two people. Got lots of delicious food for less than $23!! We'll be back.
