What a lovely place, a little tucked away but very pretty.The staff were very friendly going to great lengths to describe the menu and the specials. as they were in German, found out that the owner and his wife were visiting our town in England the following week!!The food was outstanding, not having tried herring before am now a convert, also the sea bass, salmon and prawn dish highly recommended. The food here was good, but quite expensive. Three small lamb dogs were $100, appetizers were in the $40 series, wine $150 range. Prices were not in line with service, quality and atmosphere. View all feedback.

- Essen - immer frisch - lecker und mit Liebe zubereitet- Service - Aufmerksam - Zuvorkommend - - Ambiente - gemütlich - einladend- offene Küche Wir gehen gerne und oft zu Mike´s - für uns ein Event
Nach einem kleinen Spaziergang, wollten wir auf Terrasse einkehren und etwas erfrischendes trinken. Leider kam es nicht dazu, weil die Inhaberin uns verscheucht hat. Sehr unfreundlich machte Sie uns klar...das es nicht möglich wäre... ausser wir würden etwas Essen. Obwohl nur ein Tisch besetzt war... am allerschlimmsten war der abwertende Blick.... ob wir Menschen aus einer anderen Welt wären... obwohl wir ganz normal angezogen waren. 2 junge Frauen, zählen wohl nicht zu Ihren Publikums Vorstellungen. Danke sowas brauch kein Mensch!!!!!
We called into Monchengladbach at the start of our 15 day trip around Germany and once again were impressed by the food and service in Mike's Bistro. Our only regret is that we lived just over 1Km from here for 2 years and never found this Restaurant. The food, ambiance and service are all excellent
