Restaurant is dated. Service was good but food had no real character. Poor choice of main courses. Hotel may well have good chefs but my wife could present a much finer meal ! Only two vegetables with both our main courses were carrots and (poor quality) mashed potatoes.....no doubt for convenience of the kitchen.....are we not in the Irish country side in the middle of Summer....very little imagination.
