If you love chocolate ice cream with a hint of mint, you'll absolutely adore the flavor of Whitey's! Made with coconut cream and tapioca starch, the taste and texture are incredible. It tastes just like a homemade ice cream. I highly recommend stopping by for a scoop. The service is also excellent! We visited the Moline location, but they also have other locations to choose from. Whitey's used to be the go-to spot for ice cream in the Quad Cities. However, the delicious treat now costs as much as a full meal on the menu. It is almost the same price to buy a pint of ice cream as it is to get a single scoop. It took me nearly 3-4 minutes to get an employee to ring me up for a pint from the in-store freezer. I got my watermelon sherbert and my boy got an ice cream in a cup. Great variety of flavors too.

I had a great experience at this restaurant. Even though there was a line, the staff kept it moving efficiently and were very pleasant. The ice cream was delicious as always!
