"Went for a birthday dinner for my husband, curious to see what Afghan food was like. We were not disappointed! The waitress was friendly and knowledgable regarding the menu and how many dishes to order and the food was delicious, similar to North Indian but less spicy. A lovely relaxed evening, and for the amount of food we had, very reasonably priced. BYO a bonus but they are also licensed. Recommended."

"Had lunch for my son's birthday... it was great... even when what we ordered couldn't be delivered, they apologized and offered other items and refunded the difference... the food was great and the service came with smilez! We'll be back."

"Mario Caruso and staff wow what amazing Pizzeria full of flavours lets just say it's was the best pizza I have in a very long time everything fresh as hats off to you and your girl and staff had a awesome night and I'll be a regular customer for now on so if you haven't been please get your ass there for a great feed and service. I just eat my other 1/2 from last night OMG I want more .love you guys and see ya next week "

"I don't like pizza. My family does so whenever they want it, this is the only place I'll go. The bases are authentic and smoky and delicious, the toppings generous without being slopppy and realllly good quality. The staff always lovely and helpful with my toddler. A great cosy restaurant for a nice dinner out. BYO wine is a bonus too. Don't go past the burrata pizza it's incredible! And the calzone is the best I've tried!"

"I was visiting my son in Sydney and stayed in Collaroy for a 3 week period. Looking for a nearby restaurant I found ZEST in an unassuming building and area just up the road from my apartment. Eating there for 5 nights in a row...it was difficult to move through the menu as everything I tried had to beat their sizzling Angry seafood . Service was quick polite and effective watrons being fully aware of ones needs before one asked. The surroundings look a little tired but the food and experience is a culinary delight Oh I only tried food with reasonable chilli content and was absolutely delighted of the retention of full flavour but with a decent amount of tasty heat."

"This place was expensive. there was a four-course menu and a small alternative, and it was not cheap. but it was a well balanced meal with a good mix of taste and some original touches. the main course was either to super delicate wagyu. cork meat or delicious white fish focused, but both were particularly inexorable in size, so if they are a great eater, I would not recommend this place unless they are satisfied to fill themselves on their delicious, warm sourdough bread. the doors were open all the length of the room and it was nice to sit in the evening in the beautifully designed low lighting, which over the old piers and the harbour."
