We went to the Mona Vale Hotel for lunch. The staff were friendly. We ordered a beer and then looked at the lunch menu. It was quite extensive but then we noticed they had a Seniors menu. There were about 6 or 7 dishes on the menu. Perhaps our impromptu visit caught them all off guard. The Pretzel was small, the prawn on the Surf and Turf was an inch in size and there was nobody around to ask me how my stake was. It was chewy, under cooked (I ordered medium rare), and a scanty drizzle of Bernaise sauce hardly satisfied my palate. Definitely in need of more staff. View all feedback.
