"My wife I spent a few days in Monaghan. We were recommended Andys by a stranger. Taking him at his word we went for an early dinner. We arrived warmly greated by Kevin who was front of house. After taking drinks food orders we had a lovely chat with Kevin. He gave us a few tips things to do a round the town. Our starters arrived both had homemade garlic mushrooms homemade mayo. Beautiful and very generous portions so much we could of had 1 and shared it . When our mains arrived my wife took chicken garlic sautéed potatoes I had a burger garlic sautéed potatoes. Many say a burger is just a burger but this was the nicest burger I've ever tasted in my life HONESTLY. Again very large portions but beautifully cooked. Not being rushed between starters mains and enjoying after meal drink this only added to a wonderful experience. Service Food staff hygiene comfort price 10/10. We'll be back ."

"During a recent visit to the neighbourhood with friends it was disappointing not to see a vegan menu. there was an option that did not appeal to me. the suppe was not even vegan friendly. we had to go and go somewhere else. that is something that the restaurants of the monaghan city have to appeal to eat in harmony with ever changing times and the demand for cruel, free and environmentally friendly."
