Convalescing from a major shoulder operation I plan to utilise the downtime to explore the numerous coffee cafes that exist in this section of the Ashburton Village. Starting at the southern end near the rail bridge the Resident has become one of the more popular options. Today with my morning coffee I had an excellent Banana muffin. This cafe is my local, often grab an espresso to go. This time called in for breakfast. Service was fast but alas my eggs were over cooked and the coffee was sour and flavourless. Maybe the barista just wasn't so into his job, not paying attention to his shots, sometimes it happens. View all feedback.
I order an afternoon snack small serve of chips and some Camille Tea. I found delicious and fresh. The table service was also quick and professional
Great coffee and service. Was able to reserve a table which was handy as we had a small group and baby. Staff were friendly and welcoming.
