I've been ordering here for over 15 years. I personally never had a problem with eating or service. all the deliveries were on time and the food was perfect. I don't actually go to other Chinese. I have deceived others in monasteries. but this man is my fav. View all feedback.

What Kym Coffey doesn't like about Chens Chinese:
Ordered the shredded chicken in honey and chilli sauce. The sauce was watery and sickeningly sweet. Tasted like it was made using lyles golden syrup and was very unpleasant in comparison to other dishes like this from other Chineses. Ruined everything the sauce touched and it was on everything. Not great View all feedback.

The food and staff are always helpful and friendly. Great takeaway. They have a seating area if you want to eat but it is notting fancy, just convenient.

"Very clean premises. Good variety of hot and cold foods. looked delicious. Server was very helpful at till. Diesel had splashed all over me. he got me tissues however I had to but baby wipes to clean my face which were over 5E I just thought that a bit expensive."

"Today was my second visit. On the first visit we had take away but my husband mentioned how he saw a staff member drop a burger pick it up and wipe it off Nd use it for a customer. Today we came as a family the place was noisy and filthy. The man behind the counter (who I believe was the owner from other customers call him Luigi) was shouting at the kids that were crying (as kids do, who can stop small toddlers) And then came the WORST. I went to the shared toilet it has no seat there was water leaking out the back. There was urine all over the floor on the front of the bowl. The toilet paper was in the worst spot. But then the filth of the room and the whole bowl was in my opinion the worst o have seen. By the volume of customers I cannot understand how they can't even hire a cleaner and but a cheap toilet seat. Heck even some real soap as washing hands in washing up liquid with cold water is not only weird but takes ages to wash it off. How health and safety have not closed this place down is well byond.my score would honestly be -10"
