In den letzten Monaten habe ich dem La Mairie einige Besuche abgestattet und es wird langsam wieder. Die Speisekarte ist mir für die Preise zwar noch immer zu abgespeckt, aber die Hoffnung stirbt bekanntlich zum Schluss. Ich bin einige Jahre regelmässig ins La Mairie gegangen und habe es auch als Bistro mit dem besten Salat weit und breit gerne weiterempfohlen. Leider musste ich mich in letzter Zeit mehrfach davon überzeigen, dass dem nicht mehr so ist. Die Umbauten sind abgeschlossen, es ist etwas moderner geworden, aber die Preise anscheinend ebenfalls. Very nice cafe in the Monheim Centre. Tables inside and out, and a small comfortable bar inside. Schnitzel wiener is quite good, very thin and light.
