Family was looking forward to a nice cream tea in what looked as though it would be a really nice place. Had to sit outside (no objection covid secure). Tables and chairs needed cleaning up. Tea and coffee served in 'Costa ' type paper cups. Scones clearly straight from freezer and microwaved. Innards all stodgy. Visited the property for the gardens advertised as participating in the BBC Gardeners World magazine 2 for 1 entry. The place itself looked semi- derelict and unkempt. The gardens were the worst I think I’ve ever seen at any garden open to the public. Overgrown, weedy unmanaged. It was quite shocking to see. We left within a few minutes. View all feedback.
