WOW! Just drove into town and saw this place tucked in a corner of other retail places. Figured we try it… What a surprise… Catfish, fried perfectly. Fried Okra, not greasy at all and excellent. Red beans and Rice… Perfection. Hush puppies, fries and coke slaw could not have been better! If you're coming to town, make this a stop on your itinerary. My husband and I were on a road trip and this place seemed appetizing by the menu and reviews. We stopped in and ordered the seafood gumbo and a po' boy with jumbo shrimp. How can either one of these not be awesome in Louisiana? The gumbo was just ok but not much flavor. I couldn't even finish the po' boy. The bread was too thick and not warm.
