I had a wonderful experience that Uber-Esser ordered at mrs. kumar’s. I ordered the garlauch naan, Samosa chat and the disc butter masala. the naan was soft, creamy and tasty. the disc butter masala was a bigger part than with take-off, cubed nice and very tasty. maybe a bit on the sweeter side, but well balanced. the Samosa chat was also very good, although I enjoyed it even more the butter masala sauce. came with a... I forgot to order rice, and the naan wasn't good either. The rice that I received was extremely dry. While the flavors were decent, our meals took about an hour to arrive, which was quite disappointing. We often enjoy Indian food, so we were really let down by this experience at the restaurant. I haven't had good Indian food since I lived with my post-college roommate. Everything was so delcious I almost cried at the memory. The Chicken Tikka (GF) was tender, the Samosa Chaat was delcious even without the chutneys, and there is always a place in my heart for Gulab Jamun (5 PCS). The biggest surprise was the Ras Malai (4 PCS)! Cold, a little sweet, and perfect for a mid afternoon snack with some coffee!
Every time I order, the food is always great. However, it doesn't matter if I'm picking it up from the restaurant or having it delivered, they always forget to give utensils. I even left specific instructions under my order and it's even printed on the receipt they attached to the bag that I wanted utensils. I think every restaurant should always give utensils regardless if it's take out or delivery. The whole point people get take out or delivery is to have something quick and easy to access and have all the supplies together in the bag.
I had a disappointing experience at the restaurant tonight. After being seated, I received a menu and placed my order. When the bill arrived, however, I noticed that every item cost a few dollars more than what was listed on the menu. I brought this to the staff's attention, and they apologized, explaining that those were outdated menus and that prices had increased—they were still waiting for new menus to come in. This felt like a classic bait and switch, as there was no prior notice before I ordered. While I ultimately paid the higher prices, I was tempted to make a scene over it. I felt justified in expecting to pay the prices on the menu. This situation left a sour taste in my mouth, which is disappointing because the food was actually very good.

The dining experience was quite mediocre. The puri was flat and didn't puff up, and the potato filling was the same as what they used in the dosa. The dosas were burnt; we returned them, but the replacement was burnt as well. However, they were gracious enough not to charge us for it, so I’ll give them one star for that.
