"This cosy restaurants is a great place for authentic Tuscan food and great hospitality! Have been many times and have never been disappointed. Try the pasta al ragu, the gnocchi with cheese and pears or the steak. All cooked to perfection und simply yummy! Looking forward to come back many times!"

"We arrived late at Montopoli and the restaurant was supposed to close at 10.30. We arrived at the restaurant just before this and they were kind enough to stay open for us which meant that they had to stay open until about midnight. They were more than happy to do so even though we felt quite guilty about this. The meal was excellent. Their meat platters and pasta were good and tasty. We went back a second time and again the meal was excellent. I had wild boar and the meat was so tender, delicious. I really do recommend this restaurant if you want very good food and as prices go in this area it was not expensive."

"Great value for money In connection with our holiday stay at the Hotel Sovestro near San Gimignano, we used restaurant Da Pode, which is part hotel and a restaurant. It was a fantastic experience. We ended up eating there several times. We tried several different dishes. They were all super prepared and tasty. In addition to this, the staff were top notch. Really good service, listened to our wishes, etc. There is also the possibility to drink the place 's own wines with the food It was really a good experience. Beautiful wines (and Grappa), there were both traditional and new wines on the menu. Perfect for the food. The restaurant is in the Michelin guide as a Bib Gourmand: good quality, good value cooking. It serves delicious Tuscan cuisine. Thank you for some wonderful evenings in the Tuscan sunset, with wonderful food, service and wine."
