excellent fish restaurant. mixed seafood salad and perfect fresh seabass. the food was perfect. they make their own broth, which is so good that we have asked....

restaurant in a small village near montalcino. it is visited by local workers. eating is wonderful and the prices are more than reasonable.

"We had lunch in this restaurant found by chance during a trip outside brings to the Amiata....what to say....you eat divinely! absolutely to try the polenta with chestnut flour, anime and fresh ricotta then their strong dish...... snowflakes....an explosion of flavors and at the same time a delicate goto....difficile to describe....The location is the typical Tuscan tavern of mountain.. . cozy and warm and the owner a particular character....a real host....who passionately describes you the menu..... "We are in the last week of our 5 week trip in Europe. We booked a number of restaurants but this one is the one we have been waiting for and it didn’t disappoint. Silene is in an amazing location and the restaurant mirrors it location with a beautiful ambiance in the restaurant. The small staff are friendly and accomodating and clearly love where they work and the food. We had the meat degustation which was a reflection of the chefs life. They were all amazing but my favourite was the pigeon pasta. Worth including in your trip is you are planning to visit the area."
