"We spent a month in Florence and Montalcino was a beautiful two day excursion. While the Brunello properties we visited were outstanding, re di Macchia was the highlight of our visit. The service was outstanding and the menu was so good and varied it was hard to choose each course. Surely it was everything Tuscany can offer.
