"We have eaten here more or less annually over the past decade when visiting the area. Now we make a bee line to the Lusitano whenever we can. The food is always excellent wonderful meat and fish and very well priced. Decent wine too. We have never been disappointed here and intend to visit again next week whilst we are visiting Northern Portugal. I would recommend a considerable detour to eat here. The restaurant is always full of locals obviously enjoying their lunch it pays to get there early by Spanish standards, before about 2 p.m."

"We stopped there with my family while sightseeing the Park in October We arrived late, when they finished serving dinner, so we had only tea and coffee, very tasty. It was really nice to have someting to warm up as the weather wasn't the best. The lady working there was very nice and welcoming."
