"What can I say, the Auberge du chateau was a needed arrival in Loudenville and boy did it deliver. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming with an open fire on which meat in often cooked in front of you. The food is brilliant mountain grub with a protein packed menu that also caters to vegetarians, a feature not often seen in this part of france."

"We were tempted to try the restaurant by its position with lovely views across the valley. Lunch menu was slightly more than our usual budget at 25€ but turned out to be well worth it, with traditionally inspired dishes given unusual flavour combinations and presentation. The service was friendly and attentive."
