"Previous reviews mention the coldness of the proprietors. This was not our experience. True, we were not welcomed by a young waiter or waitress of indeterminable origin saying “High guys!”, but in a small village in la Drôme Provençale, that is not what we were after! Five minutes after having been greeted by 2 beautiful purring cats, the owner and her daughter (maybe), we were seated at our table consulting the menu as we enjoyed a glass of local wine (3 euros apiece) accompanied by a wonderfully salty home made anchoiade. I continued with fishy fare for my main course and main, while my partner went for a duck themed starter and main. Everything was imaginatively presented and delicious and the service time corresponded to the time necessary to concoct such delights. We asked advice for the wine and what was recommended was a perfect fit and reasonably priced. When we paid the bill, we rounded it up to the nearest 10 euros and la patronne seemed taken aback! The restaurant is situated opposite the Church of St Martin, dating from the 12th century. We were very happy with both our culinary experience and the setting."
