"As there are a shortage of bars in Cascais we decided to give this one a try. I wouldn't recommend going if you have any issue with smoke as they do allow smoking inside. It was nice and cool on a warm evening with all the windows open and the staff were friendly but I wouldn't rush back."

"Based on a recommendation from a waiter at a different restaurant (A Gina), my wife and i checked out Sem Vergonha. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. Taking a chance, we left the choice of the entire meal to the waiter. He simply asked which we preferred, steak or fish. We replied ‘fish’. While we waited, we were served with choice sliced cuts of meats, cheeses, bread, and olives. The bartender came by with colorfully decorated drinks each different and refreshing. The main entree was dorado baked in a salty crusted bread dough. Part of the fun was the presentation. One waiter came to our table with a side table and a server arrived with the fish. All we could see was the golden brown bread in a serving tray. Then the fun happened. The server carefully cut into the bread, putting aside the shell for us to taste later. The fish was beautifully cooked and tender. The fish was deboned on the spot and the fish was plated with potatoes and greens. White wine was brought out for the meal and for dessert, a wonderfully fluffy cheesecake. The restaurant was even so kind as to call a taxi for us and paid for our fare! As a last hurrah to our vacation in Portugal, we returned a week later to the restaurant and had another amazing meal this time steak, with creamed spinach and mushrooms. I’m still dreaming of the creamed spinach! Thank you for the wonderful food memories!"
