We were twice at the place during walking trips in Foresta Umbra. Both times the trattoria was closed. No information visible to tell you when it's open.
Unfortunately, staff doesn't speak a word of English. Very strange opening hours. Do not rely on it after 3PM. It seems restaurant was made for locals only.

"We stopped this place before visiting Satuario. <Michelin> also considered this restaurant as the best one every year. We ate lamb ,mushroom pasta cooked vegetables. Even house wine was good to drink. Everything was really delicious and we returned again the next day to taste different menu. We will visit again next time. Highly recommend"

"Had a great time in Monte Sant’Angelo not only the speechless landscape but above all a delicious lunch in this pretty nice osteria. Food was too delicious: bruschetta, antipasto, grilled cheese and a sublime roasted lamb chops!! Roberto the owner was very kind offering coffee...and a very tasty cheery liqueur!! Very good!!
