What Mary Mallozziberg doesn't like about Café Carmel:
The attention of the employees was very unpleasant, and they did not have the ingredients for French toast, but the blessed eggs were delicious. I tipped the cook who was kind. View all feedback.
Best bakery and light bites in town. Everything fresh. Ice cream is served here as well. The place us always clean and welcoming. Go where the locals go! Enjoy!Kid-friendliness: Room for a few strollers. Front table facing Ocean Ave Best for families.Wheelchair accessibility: Saw a person in a wheel chair during my visit to the bakery. Made it through frontdoor and the only aisle in bakery.
Got a tuna sandwich and my girlfriend got a smoked salmon sandwich- both were over priced and not very good. Low quality ingredients. Pastries might be better, did not try them. No complaints service or atmosphere wise.
Bagel lox $19 was bad, The bagel had been prepared the day before, the cream cheese was dry, and Lox not fresh.Cappuccino and chai latte were not very large
Regular cafeteria. Foot was good. Service was average. Tables were not cleaned when we got there. I would go back for a quick bite, but not for an experience.
