Marvelous! The huge super luxurious room but above all finally a COMFORTABLE BED! Lovely and well stocked super relaxing spa. The restaurant was exquisite compliments to the chef. "Whilst staying in Lucca we tried a few gelato's but once we found this one there was no comparison anywhere in Lucca and possibly all of Italy, which really means the world as this is the home of the gelato. The staff are superb and very helpful. The quality of the ice cream is phenomenal. And the cakes well have a look at the photos. If in Lucca of an evening take a stroll through S. Elisa gate to this gelato you will not be dissappointed. Be prepared to queue with the locals for a few minutes as this is a popular shop!!"
