"I had a fantastic meal at the Agriturismo Piccolo Lago and highly recommend it to all. The food is delicious and most of the ingredients are grown there or sourced locally. The host Chiara is a lovely woman and the setting is beautiful too!"

"We drove through the area because my friends had wonderful memories of both the town and the specialty dish, Spaghetti all’ Amatriciana which originated from Amatrice. The town is completely devastated, but this restaurant was serving and seemed to be filled by many locals. The seating is almost banquet style, which offers some flexibility for the size of your group. The service was a bit overwhelmed when we were there, but the specialties and the tiramisu were excellent. And we saw many friendly people having conversations across the tables. It appears the restaurant currently is set up in a meeting space or town hall, so be aware that the bathroom allotment is minimal. Despite that, it was worth a stop, especially since the roads into and out of town wind along the beautiful mountain passes. Im also glad we could support the local economy."
