"I so happy I found this place! I had the carne asada super burrito ? and it was delicious! The burrito was a bit more expensive than I pay in San Francisco (though every restaurant in PG seems to be more expensive than the Bay Area? . The portions were massive, the meat and rice had excellent flavor, the service was fast and friendly. 5 stars! I will absolutely be back."

"The Monterey location of Mountain Mikes is one of the larger ones. Our orders have always been prepared just as we wanted and we most always have something added or not on the pizza. We live down in Pacific Grove and I order, walk out to the car and by the time I'm there the order is complete and waiting. Anything with pepperoni n bacon is exceptional."

"You can smell the quality in the air when you wait outside the restaurant. I would normally complain about how we had to wait 35 minutes past our reservation time to be seated, but the food was worth the wait ! This place runs like a well oiled machine ! They have so many orders going on and out, I don't know how they keep the quality of their food so high. You would think that with so much volume, that they must precook certain food so the customers won't wait, but everything is made to order. Fresh and hot, straight from the kitchen. My fish was cooked to perfection moist and juicy, very flavorful ! The chowder was excellent and our server couldn't have been nicer. We were purists and had for our main courses, fish and cioppino. Both were excellent. Even the bread was good ! I can see why this place gets so many 5 star reviews highly recommended !!"

"The terrace environment was great. I was close to the fire pits warm and the seats were comfortable. I had great eating in the nearby food truck and the beers were perfect. monica helped us like a real profi and made sure we knew what we really wanted since we were first visited."
