my wife and I wanted to try something new in carmel. after dinner in the Mediterranean restaurant we drove to vesuvio to visit their dach terrace. it is a living place with good drinks. it was ice cold outside, but we didn't have it because of all the heating and fire pits they have. that will be our new place to go after dinner when we come back to carmel. it will be packed quickly and close at 11 o'clock. Decent food and quality servers. If you are busy discussing business, they will not linger. They do not bug you to leave if it is late, they just reduce service. When you ask, they provide. Simple, quick service. Nice rooftop, but the fires will not keep you warm, so dress for Peninsula evening temperatures. Honest business too.
