I'm from Monterrey and this was the first time visiting Palax. The place was full so I thought the food would be great, but I was wrong. Yes, there's a lot to choose from, but the food is bland at best. There are many better...places to eat regional food in Monterrey (at the same price). Un restaurante muy tradicional, es una excelente elección para disfrutar de una deliciosa cena cuando ya todo está cerrado. La comida es muy casera.
The caldo de res' ir beef soup is very delicious and the italian spaguetti is good. Also they serve real lemonade!

In nice weather you can even eat in the outdoor area, and there is a dining room with chairs/tables. A counter with bar stools is available.
