The Fishing Hole is in my three best restaurants where I was and to fit the food. Kirsten had a lobster breakfast and I had the prawn Benedict. Both were prepared for perfection. It is located in Montesano Washington. From the wayhole in the wall restaurant. If you would see it, you would think it was just another restaurant until you enter it. What User doesn't like about Fishin Hole:
The service was great and the decor is interesting to check out. The food leaves a bit to be desired. Had the fisherman's basket and it had the taste and texture of frozen fish sticks. GF said her fish was like that you get out of a box in the freezer section. View all feedback.

It is located in Montesano Washington. From the wayhole in the wall restaurant. If you would see it, you would think it was just another restaurant until you enter it. The place turns into a fishing paradise within a log cabin. On the walls there are HUGE-Taxidermylachs. With giants I mean 35 to 60 lbs Chinook salmon. There are fishing lines that lead from the rafters to the fish with baits in there mouth. If someone has the opportunity to travel to Aberdeen or South to Raymond, I highly recommend the culinary experience.
Food cooked for perfection. Fish was not cooked wet. The shrimps also perfect. Rib Eye Steak rarely ordered. The Chowder is not filled with potatoes, you can see and taste the shells, has bacon and carrots as traditional. The frits are true russet, not culminated and frozen until the taste is lacking. The waitress was fantastic to get the food order for the first time with substitutions. I'll stop here every time I go back to Ocean Shores or home. There is no place with this quality of food and service.
Great food and environment. I stopped after a weekend of camping on the road at Lake Sylvia. Good food, clean place and friendly staff! Jeri was my server and she was great! Very recommended and will be back when I'm in town!
Our culinary experience was by far one of the best we had in a very long time... as a large group we can be very hard to please and our server gave us excellent service and the food was to die!! Our server was sooo beautiful and very personal and tailored to our needs : Thank you for the wonderful experience
I have read a couple of reviews and I have had some of the food that was complained about by another reviewer, and it was delicious! I love the gravy, it isn't mush and I love the blackberry cobbler. I really don't care what blackberries are used, it was really good. I have gone there 8 or 9 times and have never had a problem, and been treated great every single time. The waitstaff have always been really friendly and my food always came in a reasonable time. It is too bad that the other person had such a bad time but my visits have been the opposite, very fun and friendly place. By the way the french dip is fantastic!!!
